I offer focused, trauma-informed support for Israelis whose emotional wellbeing has been significantly affected by October 7 and its ongoing aftermath. As circumstances continue to shift, new layers of fear, grief, stress, and instability can build on what is already being carried. This may include people who were directly impacted, those close to others who were affected, or those whose preexisting anxiety or trauma symptoms have intensified as a result.
Within the six-session frame, we can focus on what feels most pressing now: understanding what has been activated, reducing the intensity of current distress, making sense of the beliefs or reactions that have developed around the experience, and helping you regain a greater sense of steadiness, choice, and agency.
I bring extensive experience working with trauma and understand that people can hold many different, even conflicting, feelings at once. My approach is warm, compassionate, and thoughtful, and I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely supported as we focus on what is most pressing now.
This program is best suited for concerns that began, worsened, or were significantly reactivated in connection with these events. If you are primarily seeking help for longstanding concerns that are unrelated to them, those concerns would likely be better served through ongoing treatment with a local therapist who can offer longer-term support.
